Christ's Humanity

"God loves us so much that He took on our humanity, walked with us for awhile, spoke and ate with us, touched, laughed, cried, and shared our joy."

Welcome to the RhemaGrads blog. If you are a Rhema graduate or a current student, I would like to encourage you to get involved here. Let's keep people aware of how and what you are doing in and out of Rhema.

As for me, I am a 1986 "Troops of God" graduate of RBTC. I moved my family from Spearman, Texas to go to school. While going to Rhema, I worked for the Broken Arrow Police Department as a Jailer and I also set up and ran their photo lab. After graduation, I pastored a church in Lamar, Colorado and one in Cuero, Texas.

I now live in Salt Lake City, Utah and there are not many RBTC grads here. In fact, there aren't many Spirit-filled Christians here! There are lots of Mormons though that need to hear the truth of the Gospel! I've also found that hardly any major ministries will come to Utah. I believe there are a couple of reasons for this. 1. There are not many Christians here thus, the money is not here! I say this with some shame on these ministers. Too many ministers are motivated by money, especially our television ministers. Another reason I believe many of them won't come to Utah is that, and this may take some explaining, they have to be the real thing here. Now, I'll explain. I see too many ministers, one I am thinking of in particular, that has a congregation full of believers every time he ministers. He rarely ministers where there are less than 10,000 people in attendence and most of them are EXPECTING to see "miracles". If they are lucky enough to get past the screeners to get on stage, they fall down when they are pushed. Now, if God is going to knock someone down, they will GO DOWN, no pushing necessary. LOL, I've been pushed by some of the best, Brother and Sister Hagin included.

Enough of that. If you are a Rhema grad and REALLY want to work in the mission field, consider and pray about Utah. This state is a mission field that has been totally ignored by mainstream ministries for over a century. The harvest truly is ripe for harvest here!
